Target NEET

NEET or National Entrance cum Eligibility Test conducted annually by the NTA (National Testing Agency) is a medical entrance test carried out across the country. Every year more than 15 lakh students appear for this exam.  Nearly one lakhs MBBS seats available for the students who are taking this exam. Previously AIIMS and JIPMER used to conduct separate exam to fill the MBBS (UG) seats, now all the 20 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER  colleges are filling the seats based on NEET rank. Nearly twenty eight thousand BDS and Veterinary seats across the country are filled through NEET rank. NEET Exam patternThe test pattern of NEET-2021  comprises of two sections. Each subject will consists of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions, out of  these 15 questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions.So, the total  number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same.In NEET exam equal weightage is given to all the four subjects i.e., Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry. From each subject  students have to answer 45 questions.No. of Questions , Marks and TimeIn NEET exam students have to answer 180 questions in 3hrs duration.  Each right answer will be given +4 marks and for each wrong answer -1 marks will be given. It is a pen and paper based exam.In NEET exam each right answer will be given 4 marks and each wrong answer  there will be -1 mark. Total marks in NEET exam will  be 720. So students who are wrting the NEET exam should be aware of this negative marks. It is advised not guess the answers. NEET exam is conducted in almost all the popular languages in India .  Total MBBS seats available Let us see the number of MBBS seats available for  the students who appear for the NEET exam.

Note: The above list may change from year to year as new medical colleges will be added every year.All India quotaAs this exam is conducted across the country , 15% of seats from each govern ment college will be available for national pool. That any student and from any state can choose a seat from this national pool. The remaing 85% of the seats will filled by the local students.Order of preference for all India medical colleges.
