On 30 August 2018, I happened to read an article in The Economic Times. It reads as follows: Over 93,000 candidates including 3700 PhD's, 28000 post graduates, 50000 graduates applied for 62 posts of messengers in U P eligibility class V. Starting salary Rs 20000. In another news item, 2 crore youth applied for 1 lakh jobs in railways. 2 lakh people applied for 1100 posts in Mumbai police. In Rajasthan, 129 engineers, 23 lawyers, 1 CA, 393 post graduates were interviewed for jobs of peons.
This brings out the stark reality of employment potential in the country and in the educated community. A critical reading makes one ponder, ''Is there something wrong with our education system''.
The education system has produced officers employed both by State and Central governments, public and private sector industries.
Where does the problem lie?

As a student, you have no capacity to change the system. No point in crying that the system is bad. It will take you nowhere. Then, what needs to be done.
This leaves you with only one option, what to do with yourself.
Learning is in your hands. What you learn may be decided by others, how you learn is still with you.
All that needs to be done is change the way you learn so that your contribution to society helps you fulfill your individual needs.
Don't worry about what needs to be changed, work on what you can change.
Wishing the students a happy learning experience.
