“An addiction to distraction is the end of your creative production.”

2.Direct relationship disconnection: Social media has totally disconnected us from face-to-face relation and family time. In a family where children have to spend their quality time with their family members, they are spending more time in playing online games and  at small age children are affected by eyesight.
3.Insecurity: Sharing our personal information on social media can lead insecurity and hackers may hack our account and steal our personals pics, personal information and lead to conflicts.
4.Misrepresentation: Individuals may represent themselves in social media using filters, even posting the false content to create a more favourable image and this can lead to disappointment when real person doesn’t match with social media person. For every situation there will be both positive impact and negative impact, we must balance them, and we have to overcome the negative impacts. we can use social media, but up to limited extent only. Excessive usage of social media leads to distance relationship and even destroys our bond, and we have to live lonely.

Navigating social media for Healthy Relationship:

1.Set Boundaries: Use social media up to some extent and set boundaries. Social media can help in starting new relationship and that social media can also break our relationship.
2.Open communication: The foundation of any healthy relationship is communication. Start open communication and reduce the digital communication which makes our relationship stronger.
3.Prioritize Real-Life Interactions: Make efforts to prioritize face-to-face interactions and experiences over virtual ones. Spend quality time with our beloved ones without distractions of screens and notifications.
