Avanthi Educational Society under the Leadership of Sri M.Srinivasa Rao Garu as chairman was started in the Year 1991. Within a short span of its establishment, the group has made a remarkable stride in the field of education offering various courses at Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Pharmacy & Engineering levels. This milestone is achieved as the institution carved itself to impart quality and career-oriented education, countering the challenges of the modern world through planning, dedication, determination, prompt execution, and the innovative ideas of our advisory board. Avanthi Institute of Engineering & Technology Cherukupalli(V), Near Tagarapuvalsa Bridge, Vizianagaram (Dist)was started in the year 2005 and offers various courses at Engineering and PG levels. The college is provided with rooms, a computer center, laboratories, and a seminar hall with audio-visual equipment. Industry Institute interaction is conducted regularly to emphasize the latest trends in the present market and with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi. the institute is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. the college maintains both engineering and pharmacy including MBA and Degree.

 Infrastructure in My Campus
The college is adjacent to NH5. It is very near to Tagarapuvalasa Bridge at a distance of about 25KM from Visakhapatnam and 18KM from Vizianagaram. Frequent bus facilities are available both from and to Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram by APSRTC. A very safe and secure hostel facility is available for Girl students. These are the additional facilities besides the excellent academic atmosphere on the college campus

Inside My Campus
The campus is filled with lush green trees and a peaceful atmosphere. as you enter campus, you will find that separate blocks are provided for each department in which labs are also present in the same block. there is a separate block for the BS&H department where first-year students of engineering study. and also the central library is in the same block which is well equipped with books related to all engineering branches, for GATE preparation, general books, and magazine. there is a digital library where students and staff have access to learning anything that might want to learn. On the campus, there are separate blocks for CSE, MECH, EEE, and ECE departments in which seminar halls are available for each branch. In the main block(CSE BLOCK) fee transactions and admissions-related works are carried out and the placement&carrer guidance block is situated in the same block. The college offers the PEGA course for all engineering students. the college facilities a large auditorium where the cultural activities and other activities are carried out. the laboratories are well equipped and lab technicians are helpful to students. the respective faculties will also be there to guide the students and clarify their doubts during lab sessions. there is a separate building for the canteen it is the place where most of the students like to spend more time than the classroom. the food quality is good and the meal is provided with proper taste and varieties for both hostlers and day scholars.

Hostels in My Campus


The college provides a hostel for both girls and boys. the hostel fee is only for girls. Rooms are good with proper security as it's inside the campus. one faculty will be assigned to take care. now about the boys' hostel, there is no hostel fee for boys it is completely free for all students. I truly said that The hostel facility in our college is not that good because it is covered by forest in which we have a problem of snakes and the water facility is not good that we get skin problems due to that water. And the maintenance of the hostel does not care much like our college. The food is bad and we don't have any other sources to get food and if we want to eat outside we have to travel up to 10 km to get a hotel to eat food. I don't recommend the hostel.

Transport facilities for My Campus
The transportation facility is available for students and staff. The Institute has its dedicated fleet of buses from all corners of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam as well especially, in the suburbs. The Services are made available at a very nominal fee for students and free transportation facility for the faculty members.

Sports  Activities 


The Department of Physical Education is a boon to the Institute. It has both qualified and experienced faculty/Phl Directors. The pupils avail the facilities spread over 6.5 acres for the following games: Basketball, Ball Badminton, Cricket, Cricket practicing Nets, Football, Throw ball, Volleyball, Shuttle Badminton, 200 mts Track and Field. The college has indoor facilities with Table Tennis, Caroms, Chess, and 12 stations and multi gyms for annotations gym. Yoga is being imparted to students as the best tool to handle stress. These facilities are open from 6 A.M. to 8.00 A.M. and 3.30 P.M. to 6 P.M.

Life at Avanthi


College hours start at 9:30 am and continue till 4:20 pm. A lunchLunchvided between 12:10 pm to 01:00 pm. there are 2 periods for library and sports in a week. the can teen provides mess for both hosterlhostelsy scholars.it is fun within the campus. being a  2nd-year student myself, I have shared my experience,  that admission is based on the eamcet and feet. thfeetllege does not check whether a student studentsionate about engineering and he/she loves to solve real-world problems rather it checks how much money he /she can give the college management. You will find different types of students with different aspirations. the faculty is decent enough, some are friendly and encouraging in every aspect. my college conducts many on-campus placements with high packages like 3-4.5 lakhs per annum but MNC companies are never visiting our college but many of our students are placed in top MNCs based on the placement training. The college &hostel is antiragganti raggingmpus.I can go on and on about this..the truth is that enginnerengineerings in India haIndiacome a huge market with no aim to educate people but to plunder the money of the students. that’s why there is an issue of unemployment.

Fun Activities


To enrich the knowledge of the students, faculty various activities have been organized through the activity council and some of them are academic activities, and development programs. Various activities like guest lectures, Seminars, Conferences, and Workshops are being organized every year to benefit the students along with the curriculum. Technical symposiums at the national level are organized every year to inculcate a probing sense and broaden the nascent research & innovative skills of the student in the fields of Engineering & Technology, management, etc and Avanthi is famous for fests. The most beautiful fest I witnessed is AVENSIS 2k22 where cinema industry celebrities are the guests and the moment is a nightmare. engineering education is involved with social responsibility for the benefit of mankind. the college is involved in various activities like swachh Bharat, and NSS.

Other aspects:
The college is strictly against ragging. the seniors are supportive and helpful in every aspect. they guide Juniors also in a proper way. attendance is considered and maintained strict rules. students won’t be allowed inside the campus without an ID card and uniform. the college uniform varies from 1st-year students to 4th-year students. the college provides other activities like E-learning, free internet, cafeteria, medical, generator/power back up, and Divya Gyan.

Finally, I would like to conclude by saying that engineering is not just about academics, it is a lot more than that. engineering is the joy of life.it’s about patience, learning to communicate, emerging with new technologies, time management, proper career plan.it doesn’t matter which college you are in, they only see what skills you have. learn new technologies which have demand in the future. being a student, I’m on the way to learning.don’t forget the enjoying life of engineering.
